Numb
Themes
"Numb" talks about someone who has lost himself and forgotten who he is due to the fact that other people are pressuring him into being what they want him to be. The song is being told supposedly by a young person, as the music video shows several scenes centred around a young girl and her family.
"Numb" has been interpreted as being about how young people (mainly pre-teens, teenagers) feel pressure in being able to live up to many expectations, especially relatives (most likely parents). The lyrics 'all I want to do; is be more like me and be less like you' show the much demanded freedom that most underage people would like. The message brought out from the bridge tell about the hardships that the directed person has felt.

Linking Park become Faint
Linkin Park is a rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold more than fifty million albums and won two Grammys.[1][2][3] With their debut album, Hybrid Theory, they achieved mainstream success; the album was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005.[4] Their following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200’s album charts in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.[5]
Recognized for their adaption of the nu metal genre into a radio-friendly style in Meteora and Hybrid Theory,[6][7] the band’s latest studio album, Minutes to Midnight branched away from their previous nu metal sound, venturing into a variety of other genres.[8][9] The album topped the Billboard Charts and became the third best debut week of any album for the year.[10][11] They are also known for their several collaborations, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mash-up album Collision Course, and many other artists on Reanimation
